The bioplastic clamshells are completely transparant and very suitable for small salads or raw vegetables. The clamshells are stackable and close really well. This makes them perfect for takeaway or on the go. The material is not heat-resisitant and can deform with temperatures higher than 40 degrees.
The small containers with hinged lid are made of PLA. PLA is a compostable bioplastic and made of renewable resources like corn. The basis of PLA or Poly Lactic Acid are the lactic acids found in cornstarch. After use, the clamshells can be composted together with organic waste.
