Our stackable sugarcane snack tray is perfect as a food tray for a medium portion of fries, but also for other snacks. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic snack trays, because it has the same size as the plastic version. By choosing our environmentally friendly trays , you contribute to sustainability The chip tray has no coating on the inside.
During the production of cane sugar, a lot of residual material, called "bagasse", is created. This waste material would previously be incinerated, but is now used as a natural raw material for the production of our sugar cane products at Biofutura. Our sugar cane articles are certified according to the European standard EN13432, which means that they are industrially compostable and may carry the OK compost and seedling logo. In addition, our product is certified HOME-compostable, which means that you can also compost the product on the compost heap at home.
