Our sugarcane snack tray is ideal for packaging snacks such as a chicken corn, sausage or similar snacks. This environmentally friendly alternative to plastic snack containers has the same shape as the plastic variety, making the transition to a more sustainable option easy. Our sugar cane tray has no coating on the inside.
Cane sugar production produces a lot of excess material, known as "bagasse". Previously this waste material was incinerated, but at Biofutura we now use it as a natural raw material for our sugar cane products. Our sugar cane articles are in accordance with the European standard EN13432 and are therefore industrially compostable and may carry the OK compost and seedling logo. In addition, our products have the HOME-compostable certificate, which means that they can also be broken down on the compost heap at home.
