These lids are made of bamboo cardboard and a compostable lining. This combination makes the lids grease- and leakproof. The perfect sustainable protection for your takeaways hot (up to 70°C) or cold meals, these lids go perfectly with our 625 ml bamboo bowls.

Bamboo is an extremly fast growing plant, that requires no pesticides or chemical fertilisers. This alternative can store up to 1.5 times more carbon and produces up to 35% more oxygen than trees. Bamboo is also an excellent tool for soil protection and land restoration because of its rapidly growing and strong root system. The easy processing of the material results in reduced water use, wastage and an increased output. Our bamboo products have a compostable PLA coating that makes them suitable for all kinds of uses, be it hot or cold (up to 70°C).
