Our biodegradable food containers are made of the renewable raw material cellulose and provided with a PLA (corn starch) coating to make the cup -resistant cup. Sustainable food containers are an environmentally friendly alternative to for example ice cream cups with a plastic coating. Moreover, they are 100% biodegradable. The food containers are FSC® certified. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international organization that is committed to conservation and responsible forest management worldwide. FSC speaks of responsible forest management when the ecological, social and economic aspects associated with forest management are taken into account in a balanced way.
