Assiettes

The biodegradable tableware includes tableware in different shapes, sizes and is made of renewable resources. The wide range of products makes the tableware very suitable for different occassions and different types of dishes. The used material makes it possible to use the disposables for hot and cold dishes, together with dishes like soup or with sauces.

The plates in our range are mainly made of sugar cane or palmleaf. Both materials are fully biobased, biodegradable and compostable. Sugar cane is used to extract sugar, the fibres of the plant that are left can be used to produce our disposable tableware. With this process, the waste stream is made into a valuable resource for our products. For the palmleaf tableware, leaves from the Areca palm have been used, which are collected after they fell. The leaves are then used as raw material to produce the tableware. The sugar cane products are available in various qualities and versions, from standard plates and bowls to Italian design tableware. The plates and bowls made of palmleaf have a more luxurious look and combine very well with colorful dishes.

All products in this category are biodegradable and a big part is also certified compostable by the European standard for compostablility. Palmleaf is not certified because it is a fully natural product, but is produced according to the fairtrade principle.
