Sustainable ice cream spatulas

For both the wooden and paper versions of our sustainable ice cream spoons or spatulas, wood is the raw material. The wood for the wooden spoon is simply processed into thin plates from which the spoons are punched out. After that, the spoons are steam pressed into their final shape. After the spoons are further finished, they are provided with a coating based on natural Carnauba palm wax. This ensures that the spoons are smooth and have a pleasing texture. For the paper ice cream spoons, the wood is first processed into paper. A very stable end product is generated by combining 9 layers of paper with a compostable overlay.
