These elegant rectangular plates are flat. Our customers use these plates for skewered dishes because the plate are quit long and strong. These rectangualar disposable plates are made from sugarcane fibers. This makes the plates heat, grease and moisture resistant while remaining 100% compostable.
Bagasse is the raw material that we use the create these plates. Bagasse is natural renewable resource and is the official term for sugarcane fibers. The fibers come from the sugarcane production. After exacting the sugary juices from the canes, the leftover sugarcane is crushed and turned into a pulp. This pulp is then pumped into special moulding machines which create these rectangular plates.The plates are 100% compostable and certified under EN-13432.
Because of the bagasse material, the plates are unsuited for printing.
