Our sugar cane lids are food safe, tasteless, water resistant and suitable for use in the oven and microwave up to 100°C. In addition, our lids are 100% biodegradable.

This sugar cane lid is made for closing the sugar cane box 1000ml and 1500ml.

The production of cane sugar produces large amounts of residual material called “bagasse”. These remains would have burned down but are now used as a natural raw material for the production of Bio Futura's sugar cane products. Bio Futura's sugar cane items are certified according to the European standard EN13432, which stands for industrial compostability. This means that the OK compost and seedling logo may be worn.
