Pluses and minuses
The cardboard food container 12oz/360ml with PLA coating is suitable for packaging fruit, for example. This food container can also be used as a salad container or other small snacks or dips such as salsa and aoli.
Our biodegradable food containers are made from the renewable raw material cellulose and provided with a PLA (corn starch) coating to make the cup moisture-resistant. Sustainable food containers are an environmentally friendly alternative to, for example, ice cream cups with a plastic coating. Moreover, they are 100% biodegradable.
The food containers are FSC® certified. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international organization committed to conservation and responsible forest management worldwide. FSC speaks of responsible forest management when the ecological, social and economic aspects associated with forest management are taken into account in a balanced manner.
